Appian Way – The Queen of Roads

The Appian Way, built in 312 BC, was Rome’s first and most important road. It connected the city to distant parts of the empire, serving as a military and trade route. Today, its original basalt paving remains intact. Along this historic path, you’ll see ancient burial monuments and ruins that tell the story of Rome’s expansion. The road winds through scenic countryside, revealing remnants of a glorious past.

Museum of the Walls – Walking Through History
The Aurelian Walls, constructed in the 3rd century AD, protected Rome from invasions. Inside the Museum of the Walls, you’ll explore a 350-meter section of the ancient fortifications. Walk through medieval watchtowers and battlements, passing hidden passageways that once guarded the city. The 5th-century Honorian walls still feature archery slits, staircases, and rifle loopholes added during the Roman Republic’s battles of 1848. One of the museum’s most captivating sights is a medieval fresco of the Madonna and Child, painted inside a tower by a hermit.

San Sebastiano Catacombs – Rome’s Underground Legacy

Please note: The museum does not have an elevator and there are several flights of stairs. It may be difficult to access for visitors with reduced mobility.

-Please note: The choice of vehicle color is not normally guaranteed. According to the number of participants and the availability of the vehicles, we may use two eFiat 500, one 850 Spiaggina eFiat, or a combination of these vehicles. In the event of rain or wet weather, we will need to switch to golf cart vehicles equipped with rain covers to ensure comfort and safety.

-Vehicle preference: You can choose your preferred vehicle color or type, for an additional fee of €150. If we are unable to accommodate your request after the fee has been paid, we will refund the full €150 and provide a 50% discount (€75) on the vehicle preference fee as compensation.

-Age Restriction for Babies: Due to the vintage nature of our vehicles, which are not equipped with seat belts, we cannot install baby seats. Therefore, we cannot legally accommodate babies younger than 3 years old. Only children aged 3 years and above, accompanied by a parent, are permitted on the tour.
