Guided by expert hosts, you’ll follow the full journey of Italy’s iconic lemon liqueur. First, you’ll select and peel fresh organic lemons. Then you’ll combine them with alcohol and sugar, learning how each ingredient shapes the final result. As you zest and mix, your hosts will share stories that connect Rome with the Amalfi Coast and explain how limoncello became a symbol of Italian hospitality and dolce vita culture.
Your experience begins with a welcome toast and an introduction to the distillery and its methods. After that, it’s time to roll up your sleeves. You’ll prepare the infusion, adjust the balance of ingredients, and see how time and care influence flavor and aroma.
While your limoncello rests, you’ll continue the journey in the private tasting area. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of the exclusive Spritz Drink It®, paired with delicious Roman pizza. During this moment, you’ll focus on aromas, textures, and tastes, and you’ll discover how different Italian recipes and liqueurs pair together in simple but surprising ways.
Finally, you’ll bottle and label your own 100 ml creation – a personalized limoncello to take home as a memory of your Roman evening. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase additional exclusive Drink It® products directly at the distillery shop.
